Connect the Steps 5k run/walk is a fundraiser for two of the many programs offered at the Wabash Center in Lafayette, Indiana. Kids' Connection and First Steps are programs offered for children 0-6yrs old with developmental disabilities. They provide support for the parents and an environment conducive to growth and development of the family.

The race will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 with a start time around 9am with registration before beginning around 8am. It will be located in The Orchard neighborhood near Klondike with a well defined path.

Directions starting from the PURDUE CAMPUS:

Take State St/ St Rd 26 west past Purdue West and follow that until you see The Orchard subdivision on the right hand side/ north side of the road. You will turn north onto Scarlett Dr. and continue until you see the shelter at The Orchard Park on the corner of Scarlett Dr. and McShay Dr. Registration and starting line will be near the shelter. Parking is available in the surrounding courts and unfinished lots.
